Dr. Joshua K. Kolmetz, M.D.

Dr. Joshua Kolmetz was born and raised in Baker, Florida.  He graduated from high school in 1997 as class Valedictorian and moved to Gainesville, Florida where he completed his undergraduate degree with high honors in 2000.  Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kolmetz proceeded to medical school at the University of Florida and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Shands at the University of Florida in 2007. 

In the spring of 2007, Dr. Kolmetz and his family moved back home to the Crestview area.  In the fall of 2007, Dr. Kolmetz opened his Internal Medicine practice on Main Street in Downtown Crestview.  Dr. Kolmetz is now honored to share his office with two other collaborating physicians, Dr. Michael Roberts and Dr. Dennis Stewart as well as a Nurse Practitioner, Lauren Adkinson.  Their office, Main Street Medical Center, continues to grow and flourish in the downtown area.

Dr. Kolmetz and his wife, Kristy, have four children, two boys and two girls.  Dr. Kolmetz is active in local children sports, helping coach little league football and basketball teams, as well as helping children obtain sports physicals to compete in local middle and high school sports teams.
